One way trip Devlog #2
One Way Trip Devlog #2
December 14 - January 1
Overview:
Over the past two weeks, I dedicated my efforts to refining the character controller, addressing interaction bugs lingering since the project's inception. I implemented an advanced dialogue system, introduced translations to the game, and polished game design details within the scenes. The game is now a bit less challenging but more comprehensible.
Achievements:
- Resolution of bugs impacting the overall experience.
- Visual enhancements to the game.
- Improvements in narrative elements.
- Implementation of a translation system.
- Continuation of the storyline.
- Minor error fixes.
- Introduction of television and radio elements.
Learnings:
I acquired knowledge on creating a more advanced dialogue system and learned some design aspects for the game.
Upcoming Tasks:
Moving forward towards the game's conclusion, the first part now feels more playable and visually appealing. However, there's still much work to be done in the third act of the game.
